New commercial bakery shop and offices – Client:  Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding Company Limited.

Cartmel is known for many things, one being Sticky Toffee Pudding which was first made in the kitchen of The Village Shop.

As the business grew larger premises were needed, firstly with a new building close to the village and then a large modern bakery incorporating offices and retail shop in Flookburgh.

The bakery is built to modern hygiene standards and provides excellent facilities for staff and customers.

The Village Shop, still owned by the company, is a key Listed historic building in The Square and has been refurbished sympathetically with a new interior fitted out to accommodate the many delicacies available to the shop’s customers.
