Extension and loft conversion – Private client

The original, very modest and plain, two bedroom bungalow with garage undercroft was built on an attractive sloping site with extensive views over Grange over Sands and Morecambe Bay beyond.

The brief was to provide additional living accommodation on the same footprint and give the building a facelift.

This was achieved by raising the roof and creating another floor of accommodation incorporating 2 no. new bedrooms and additional living room and ancillary areas including balcony.

The appearance and amenity of the dwelling has been greatly enhanced and Ingilnook now makes a positive contribution to the Grange over Sands conservation area.
