New house – Private Client

The brief was to design a modest New England style house in a sheltered and mature garden setting in Ulverston.

The house is built in timber frame with the external walls clad in fine sawn stained Siberian larch weather boarding and roof finished in Burlington slate.

The accommodation comprises three bedrooms, living room and kitchen/dining room together with all ancillary facilities.

The house is built to a high insulation standard and includes ground source heating serving a heat pump located in the utility room.  The heat pump provides all domestic hot water and also serves the underfloor heating systems.
