Sarah Gerrish
Associate Architect
Sarah is an Associate Architect at John Coward Architects, working as a project architect from the early stages of a project onwards and supporting the directors across their work where needed. Her role is client-facing, with regular interactions throughout the project stages. While much of her experience has been residential, she is increasingly working in conservation and listed buildings, including church projects.
Sarah’s route into architecture began with Interior Architecture at the University of Edinburgh, followed by work in architectural lighting design. After moving back to Cumbria from Leeds in 2013, she joined John Coward Architects and continued her architectural training alongside practice, completing Parts 2 and 3 before qualifying as an architect in 2019.
Her developing focus is conservation. She is currently a conservation registrant and is working towards Conservation Architect status, bringing together her residential experience with an increasing specialism in historic and listed buildings.
