Having joined John Coward Chartered Architect in 1999, Rebecca became a director of John Coward Architects Ltd in 2002 and is now the Managing Director of the practice. Rebecca trained in Canterbury and Edinburgh and became a chartered member of the RIBA and an associate member of the RIAS in 1996. She worked first in Cumbria, then Scotland and the Pacific before moving back to the UK to join John Coward Architects.
Prior to working for JCA Ltd, Rebecca worked on a wide range of projects including refurbishment and new build office developments and hotel projects in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Fiji. Since joining JCA Ltd Rebecca has worked on a huge range of domestic and commercial projects, one of her Barn conversions featured in the January 2009 issue of House and Garden. In 2006 she became a member of the Green Register and aims to produce high quality sustainable buildings for all her clients.
Rebecca’s work is mainly focused on the feasibility, design and planning stages of projects and because of this she has built up a very good working relationship with all the local planning authorities.
