Richard joined John Coward Architects in early 2014 and has over 20 years of experience in architectural practice, working on a diverse range of projects throughout the UK. He studied architecture at Leeds and Westminster becoming a Chartered member of the RIBA in 2002.
Richard began his career working in India on social housing projects throughout the sub continent. After returning to the UK he worked in private practice in London designing and delivering high quality residential projects. Moving up to South Lakeland in 2000, Richard then developed a comprehensive, client focused experience in the design and project management of publicly funded projects, particularly in the education sector. Whilst at JCA Richard has used this experience to work closely with clients, developing sensitive project specific designs.
