In January 2019, practice director Mike Darwell was appointed Cathedral Architect to Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. The role is wide ranging and involves all aspects of the Cathedral building and wider precinct including both planned and reactive maintenance, fabric repairs and new works. Mike is a key decision maker in the Cathedral team responsible for the fabric and a leader of projects to improve the experience of the Cathedral for all users and visitors. Mike is proud to be the Cathedral Architect at a time when, in 2024, the Cathedral will reach its centenary celebration of its consecration.
