John Coward Architects Ltd Achieves Cyber Essentials Certification

After another successful audit by our Cyber Security Consultants (Intec Cyber), John Coward Architects Ltd have received Cyber Essentials Certification for 2023-24.

Cyber Essentials is a UK government backed scheme, supported by the National Cyber Security Centre which is a set of basic technical controls that organisations should have in place to guard against the most common cyber threats.

The controls give all of us here at JCA the confidence that our system will be protected against the majority of common cyber-attacks whilst also demonstrating our commitment to cyber security.

Now that JCA has received Cyber Essentials Certification, we are in the process of acquiring IASME Cyber Assurance Level 1 Certification which will enable us to achieve an excellent level of information security across our business, further proving to our clients and suppliers our commitment to the security of our cyber systems in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The Cyber Assurance Controls which we will be assessed on include:

  • Risk Assessment
  • Incident Management
  • Backup
  • Data Protection
  • Policies
  • Operational Management
